Service Manager, Watsonville Branch:
Bay Federal Credit Union is looking for a dynamic, service-oriented leader to be the Service Manager at our Watsonville Branch. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week). The Service Manager is responsible for ensuring that the branch is providing excellent member service by managing all activity of the teller line and branch lobby. The Service Manager ensures transactions are being processed accurately and efficiently, and manages loss prevention and audits for the branch.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
- Directly manages and makes independent decisions regarding all aspects of the teller line and greeter station. This includes staffing, cross-training, performance coaching, and transaction exceptions.
- Resolves escalated member issues or concerns.
- Supports and reinforces the Credit Union's sales initiatives by training and guiding staff to make appropriate sales referrals.
- Ensures that tellers and greeters remain current on Bay Federal's products, services, and branch procedures.
- Oversees the security and balancing of the branch's vault, ATMs, coin machines, etc.
- Responsible for branch compliance with all required regulations and policies such as Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), etc.
- Responsible for overseeing all audit functions within the branch.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in supervising/managing people in a work environment is required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in branch/teller operations in a financial institution is required.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
