Join Today! Anyone who lives, works, volunteers, worships or attends school in Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey Counties is eligible to join Bay Federal Credit Union. Once you're a member, your immediate family* becomes eligible for membership as well. Your deposits at Bay Federal Credit Union are federally insured up to $250,000 per account by the National Credit Union Administration, a U.S. government agency. If you'd like to join Bay Federal Credit Union, download a membership application, print it out, fill it in and bring it with you when you visit one of our convenient branch offices to speak to a Member Service Representative. *Immediate family members include spouse, child, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, and step–relatives. Persons living in the same residence and maintaining a single economic unit are also eligible to join. This includes legal guardianships and domestic partners as well as any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of a household.
