Anyone who lives, works, volunteers, worships or attends school in Santa Cruz, San Benito, and Monterey Counties is eligible to join Bay Federal Credit Union. Once you're a member, your immediate family* becomes eligible for membership as well.

TO BECOME A MEMBER:

• Fill out our online application or print out and complete the application (pdf).
• Include a check for at least the combined minimum balance of all accounts you wish to open, plus the $5 one-time membership fee. For minimum account balances, please see our Truth–in–Savings Disclosure.
• Review the Truth–in–Savings Disclosure for complete terms and conditions governing the opening and use of your account.
• Mail your application, check and a copy of your Driver License to Bay Federal Credit Union, 3333 Clares St., Capitola, CA 95010.

If you'd like to join in person, stop by one of our convenient branch offices and speak to a Member Service Representative.

*Immediate family members include spouse, child, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, and step–relatives. Persons living in the same residence and maintaining a single economic unit are also eligible to join. This includes legal guardianships and domestic partners as well as any person who is a permanent member of and participates in the maintenance of a household.
