Bay Federal is committed to helping students from Santa Cruz County and Salinas who are dedicated to continuing their education. We are offering a total of six (6) $500 scholarships to deserving students who display exemplary character, work ethic and strong educational goals.

To apply, complete a scholarship application (PDF) and return it to any Bay Federal branch location today. Application deadline is May 2, 2008.

Eligible applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Essay must be typed, double spaced and not exceed two pages
• Resume of extracurricular activities and community service not to exceed one page typed
• Scholarship to be utilized in conjunction with continuing education at any accredited college, university or trade school
• Student must be a member of Bay Federal Credit Union
• Student must be in good standing with Bay Federal Credit Union
• Student must be in good standing with their high school, college, university or trade school
• Minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average in a 4.0 scale
• Students must have a letter of recommendation from a teacher or school counselor
