Bay Federal offers two different checking accounts — choose the one that fits your lifestyle!

BayChecking^1,2
The perfect checking account! Get all that you expect from a checking account.
This account offers you:

• Unlimited Check Writing
• VISA® Debit or ATM Cards
• Free BayFedOnline home banking
• Free Bill Pay
• Free BayPhone telephone banking

The monthly service fee is waived on your BayChecking account when you do ONE of the following:

• Establish Direct Deposit in the BayChecking account ($500 or more per month)
  or
• Perform 10 or more VISA® Debit Card purchases per month
  or
• Maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,000 in the BayChecking account
  or
• Maintain minimum daily combined balances of $15,000 that includes deposits and/or loan accounts (such as Savings accounts, Certificates, Checking accounts, Mortgage loans, Auto loans, etc.)

This fee is waived for members under the age of 23, and for members who are 66 and older.

To open your Bay Federal checking account, complete a membership application and send it to us along with a check for an initial opening deposit of $100 and a copy of your current Driver License.

VISA^® Debit Card

A remarkably versatile card that lets you use the funds in your Bay Federal checking account, even at places that don't normally take personal or out–of–town checks. It looks just like a credit card, but it's not. Instead, it automatically deducts purchases from your checking account. No credit is advanced, so there are no interest charges.

You can use your VISA® Debit Card at millions of locations worldwide — anywhere that accepts VISA® Debit. It also doubles as your ATM card, giving you access to your account at thousands of ATMs worldwide.
