Hands holding a heart
If you are currently in a payment forbearance due to COVID-19 and need more time before resuming normal payments, please contact Loss Mitigation at 831.479.6000, extension 450. If you have already received 12-months forbearance of your mortgage loan payment(s) due to COVID-19 and need more time before resuming normal payments, please complete the Home Preservation Program application.

If you are having trouble making your mortgage payment due to the COVID-19 emergency, you might qualify for Bay Federal Credit Union's Mortgage Payment Assistance Program, which will provide for a payment forbearance of up to 120 days. If you are able to resume your payments after the forbearance, your payment will remain the same, unless you are also paying insurance and taxes through your scheduled payment; in those cases, your payment will increase slightly to cover those payments. This program applies to first mortgages and mobile homes, including primary, second, and investment properties.

If you would like to enroll in this program, please fill out the form below. Once your application is processed you will receive an email confirmation. If you have additional questions once you receive your confirmation email, please visit our FAQ page or contact us and we will be happy to assist you. After the forbearance we will have options that may include reinstatement, repayment, or deferral of payments.

We encourage you to visit the Federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau site for more details on forbearance programs, and other useful information.

For requesting a deferment on an auto loan, personal loan, or Visa credit card, please visit our loan deferment page.
