Bay Federal Credit Union Employees Donate $1,480 to Grind Out Hunger

Capitola, CA – April 25, 2013 –After an inspiring talk by Grind Out Hunger Executive Director Danny Keith at a recent Bay Federal staff meeting, employees of the Credit Union were motivated to donate $1,480 of their own money in addition to cans of food to the organization. Grind Out Hunger is a non-profit that seeks to eliminate hunger by motivating kids to get involved. Funds and food collected by Grind Out Hunger locally are donated to Second Harvest Food Bank. The money raised by Bay Federal Credit Union employees will help provide meals to local families in need.
