Bay Federal Credit Union Welcomes Ron Renton as New Assistant Vice President of Electronic Banking

Capitola, CA – May 16 –Bay Federal Credit Union is excited to welcome Ron Renton as their new Assistant Vice President of Electronic Banking. In his role, Ron will be responsible for overseeing the Credit Union's Call Center as well as its electronic products including online and mobile banking. "I am looking to transform Bay Federal's online channels into user friendly, best of breed offerings," said Ron. "I want our existing members and new members to be excited by what we can do for them electronically." Ron expects to use his experience and knowledge to catapult Bay Federal to the cutting edge of electronic banking.

Ron comes to Bay Federal with over seventeen years of experience in the banking industry. Most recently he served as Head of Electronic Banking for a large offshore bank in Bermuda. Prior to that position he served in various management roles for the Bank of Nova Scotia in Canada, including becoming their first Internet Banking Manager. Ron has a Bachelor's of Commerce Degree as well as a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.

Mr. Renton has relocated from Toronto, Ontario to join Bay Federal. He will soon be joined by his wife Amy as they settle into their new home in Santa Cruz.
