Capitola, CA – October 12, 2017 –Bay Federal will join more than 56,000 credit unions in celebrating International Credit Union Day (ICU Day), which honors their philosophy and achievements, from 9 AM to 5 PM on October 19.
Bay Federal will have financial information and treats at all its branches. It welcomes anyone who is interested in discovering the credit union philosophy of “People Helping People” to visit and learn more about one of their local not-for-profit financial cooperatives.
Bay Federal celebrates ICU Day, which started in 1948, to support the idea that the not-for-profit structure and people-first principles of credit unions make them the ideal financial partners for all people.
This year’s ICU Day theme is “Dreams Thrive Here” to recognize how credit unions help people achieve their biggest goals in life, such as home ownership, retirement, or college.
