Landed helps teachers and school staff buy homes in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties.
Landed contributes half of an eligible school employee's down payment on a home, up to $120,000. In exchange, homebuyers share a portion of the home's future gain or loss. Landed also offers homebuyer education and financial wellness workshops for educators.
To be eligible:
- You must have worked for a public school or district for at least two years.
- You must agree to stay with your current school district for at least two years.
- You and any co-buyers must be able to contribute 10% down (or more) on the home. Landed can contribute another 10% down (up to $120,000) to help you buy your primary residence.
- You must qualify for a primary mortgage with Bay Federal.

Since our founding as a teacher's credit union, Bay Federal has continued our commitment to education.
