Fun for Employees at Bay Federal

At Bay Federal, the fun never ends. We are always looking for more reasons to laugh, and our employees are always willing to go the extra mile to make people smile!

Monthly Company Meetings

Our employees get together monthly for All Staff meetings. While we do go over important business at these meetings, we also use the time to catch up, have fun, and celebrate the unique culture of BayFed.

Dress-Up Days

We are professionals and dress as such, but some days we prefer to dress up in celebration. We regularly have sports days when employees are encouraged to wear sports jerseys in support of their favorite teams. Holidays are popular as well, with dress codes such as Red, White, and Blue clothes for Fourth of July. Past fun dress code days include 70’s day, 80’s day, Star Wars day, Hawaiian shirts for Hawaii day, and Ugly Sweaters for the All-Staff meeting in December.

Community Support Events

From Dodgeball Tournaments to wrapping holiday presents to throwing pies in managers’ faces, Bay Federal employees know how to have fun while participating in our award-winning Community Support Program. Favorite events include the annual Big Brothers Big Sisters’ Bowl for Kids’ Sake and our Meals on Wheels’ Thanksgiving Day Delivery event. 

Member Appreciation Days

We wouldn’t be here without our members, so we hold monthly Member Appreciation Days in our branches. We enjoy being creative with themes, snacks, and goodies, and we love to show our members how important they are to us!

Halloween

If you follow us on social media, you know how much we enjoy Halloween! Every year, each branch decorates their location from floor to ceiling. Our Executive Team travels from branch to branch to admire all of the hard work. At the end of the day, prizes are awarded to the department or branch with the best theme and decoration. It is an event that our employees—and members—look forward to every year.

Fun Squad

Bay Federal has its very own Fun Squad committee! It is their job to make sure that work is, well, fun! The Fun Squad organizes the dress-up days, hosts barbeques when remote team members come to town, and delivers treats to onsite employees to show our appreciation. At Bay Federal, we want to make sure that the fun never stops!
