Founded by local teachers in 1957, Bay Federal is proud to continue its tradition of supporting education and creating opportunities for young people throughout Santa Cruz, Monterey, and San Benito counties. Through its Community Giving Program, the Credit Union helps support the schools and youth sports organizations that make a difference in the lives of local children and families.

Selected schools and youth sports programs can only be granted funding once per year. Applications are reviewed by Bay Federal's Community Engagement Team, with funding decisions made within 90 days of the application deadline.
