Bay Federal Credit Union Promotes Nicole Beaver and Ruben Munoz to Assistant Vice President, Regional Manager

Capitola, CA – February 3, 2026 - Bay Federal Credit Union announced the promotion of Nicole Beaver and Ruben Munoz to Assistant Vice President, Regional Manager, recognizing their leadership, dedication, and continued commitment to Bay Federal’s mission and member-focused culture.

In their new roles, Mrs. Beaver will oversee the Scotts Valley, Santa Cruz, Capitola, and Freedom branches, while Mr. Munoz will oversee Aptos, Watsonville, Salinas, and Marina branches. Their responsibilities include training and developing branch teams, leading sales initiatives, supporting production planning, and partnering closely with the Assistant Vice President, Branch Managers to strengthen processes, service excellence, and member relationship building.

Mrs. Beaver has 25 years of service at Bay Federal Credit Union, having built her entire financial services career within the organization. Since joining Bay Federal, she has grown through various roles and developed a strong passion for supporting members, mentoring staff, and strengthening branch operations.

Mrs. Beaver is a graduate of Western CUNA Management School and serves on the boards of Your Future Is Our Business and the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, walking to the beach, camping, and watching movies and television series. She also loves animals and shares her home with a dog, two cats, two tortoises, and a Sun conure.

Mr. Munoz, born and raised in Watsonville, brings nearly 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. His career has been shaped by a passion for leadership, service, and creating meaningful impact in the communities he serves. Over the last five years at Bay Federal Credit Union, Mr. Munoz has continued to grow as a leader while contributing to the organization’s strong member-first culture.

Mr. Munoz is actively involved in the community as a member of the Rotary Club of Freedom and is a graduate of Leadership Santa Cruz County. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, which he credits with keeping him grounded and inspired.
