WebPay is a quick and easy way to make your Bay Federal loan payments, without the need to login to BayFedOnline or the BayFed Mobile app. We have compiled a list of common questions and answers about the WebPay portal.
PayPrompt is available to members who use WebPay. PayPrompt sends text message reminders about upcoming due dates right to your phone! After completing your first payment through WebPay, you will receive a text message from "32576" inviting you to PayPrompt. All you have to do is text back “YES” to start receiving reminders including links to the WebPay portal to complete your payment. It’s that easy, and you can cancel at any time!

What do I need to get started?
You will need the following:
- Your member number. You will find this number at the top of your monthly statement; in BayFedOnline under “My Settings;” or in the BayFed Mobile app under “More,” “Settings,” and “My Settings.”
- The email address on file with Bay Federal. You can check which email we have on file for you in BayFedOnline under “My Settings;” or in the BayFed Mobile app under “More,” “Settings,” and “My Settings.”
- The last four of your social security number.
- The routing number and account number of your outside financial institution, or
- Your debit/credit card number
Where can I find my member number?
You can find your member number on your monthly statement, in Online Banking, or in the BayFed Mobile app.
Can I set up recurring payments?
Yes! You can set up a recurring monthly payment using your routing number and account number.
Can I make a payment using my credit or debit card?
WebPay accepts the following debit cards:

How much can I pay towards my loan?
You can only pay amounts that are coming due on your loan. You cannot make principle-only payments through our WebPay portal. You can pay up to $4,000.00 using your bank routing number and account number. Debit and credit card payments are limited to $1,000.00 daily.
Is there a charge for this service?
Yes, there is a $4.95 convenience fee per transaction for this service.
How soon will my payment post to my account?
All payments processed before 6 PM (Pacific Time) will be credited on the same day, excluding weekends and holidays. Those will post the next business day.
Can I change or cancel a payment that I just submitted?
All requests to change payments need to be submitted on the same day before 5 PM (Pacific Time). Visit a branch or call our Member Service Center at 831.479.6000 or toll-free at 888.4BAYFED, option 3.
The website will not take my payment, and I keep getting a decline message.
If you are receiving a decline message, please contact your bank or card lender to find out why the transaction is being declined.
My loan is not listed on the website.
