Community Giving Program
Founded by local teachers, we’re proud to carry a legacy of supporting students forward by investing in local schools and youth sports teams and creating opportunities for young people throughout our communities.
Application periods:
October 1 – November 15
April 1 – May 15
These tips will help you understand our process and what you can expect:
Ensure your service area is within Santa Cruz, San Benito, or Monterey Counties.
Correspondence from Bay Federal Credit Union will be directed to the person listed on the application at the email and mailing address provided. This person must be an authorized representative of the organization seeking support.
While we will consider all eligible requests, our average contribution ranges from $500-$2000. If we are unable to meet your entire request, we will consider a contribution in an alternate amount.
Selected schools and youth sports programs can only be granted funding once per year.
Organizations will be notified of Bay Fed’s decision within 60-90 days.
You must upload a copy of your organization's W9 and other attachments to be considered for funding. Other attachments such as impact reports, program flyers, etc. are optional but encouraged.
